St. John's offers Daily Mattins, 8:45 - 9:15 a.m. Monday through Friday.

There are three services every Sunday morning. At 8:00 a.m., Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer, brief homily, no music) summons us into prayer and contemplation.

At 9:00 a.m. we celebrate a contemporary Holy Eucharist using the Book of Alternative Services, and one Sunday per month, contemporary forms of music. Otherwise, music is offered and led by our parish volunteer choir which always welcomes new members. Choir practice is on Tuesdays at 6 pm. The service includes a sermon, and is marked by significant lay leadership.

At 11:00 a.m. we use the Book of Common Prayer. Our parish professional choir leads the music at this service. St. John’s is committed to keeping alive the great tradition of Anglican music for the liturgy (from the 16th century to the present day). Under Noel Edison’s leadership the choir maintains the highest standards of excellence in a true spirit of worship. We alternate Choral Eucharist (1st and 3rd Sundays) and Choral Mattins (2nd and 4th Sundays). All include a sermon, and significant lay involvement. Nursery care and Sunday School is offered at all 11 am services.

Worship at St. John’s also includes the singing of Choral Evensong by our professional parish choir on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of most months at 6:30 p.m.

Finally, on the 3rd Sunday of each month (except July and August), we offer a service of the ministry of healing. In the context of a simplified Eucharist, participants are invited to avail themselves of the opportunity for prayer and confession, and/or the laying on of hands.

Exceptional services of great beauty and celebration during the year include Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, and Easter services of Lessons and Carols, as well as an annual Coronation Evensong on the first Sunday in June.
